KG Hypnobirthing is simple, practical and highly effective; a complete antenatal education course, bringing together the physiology and psychology of birth which will make a difference to your experience of giving birth to your baby the best possible way that is right for you, however you will give birth

When is the best time to start a course?

The best time to begin a hypnobirthing course is any time after 12 weeks but it is most recommended between 20 – 30 weeks. This is to give optimal time for practice, an important part of hypnobirthing process and from then your mind will start thinking of giving birth. However, you can attend a course before or after this time. It is really depending on what works for you. Please get in touch if you are unsure

Will I receive any course materials?

I will be sending you MP3 for birth relaxation and positive birth affirmations so you can begin to practice and develop a positive outlook on pregnancy and birth right away.
At the course you will be given The Hypnobirthing Book by Katharine Graves and a folder of handouts to support you during the rest of your pregnancy and the birth of your baby. Complimentary KOMU Post-Natal Digital Pack

Do I still need medical advice?

Absolutely Yes!  Hypnobirthing is not a replacement for medical advice, and I am not medically qualified to give advice about your individual case. However, we would help you source out the best information available from the latest research so that you can make informed decision

Which hypnobirthing technique do you teach?

There are many different techniques.  I teach KG Hypnobirthing which is a carefully and well thought through antenatal programme and it’s designed especially for women in the UK. It’s accredited by the Royal college of Midwives and it’s well researched and supported by latest evidence. I also provide an insight and knowledge to understand your options and implications of choices you make. Additionally, I also provide you with techniques for a successful birth, and how to navigate the system in which you find yourself to achieve the best birth outcome for you and your baby.

Does the father or birth partner need to attend? Can I come alone?

The cost of each course covers you and your birth partner. The birth partner doesn’t have to come, but they will be very glad if they did. A hypnobirthing father is knowledgeable and able to support mum as she gives birth. He is a huge asset to the birthing room and many mothers say ‘I couldn’t have done it without him’.
You can also attend on your own, if your birth partner cannot make it, but we would welcome your mother, a friend, or whoever is going to support you at the birth instead
